Would You Be Interested in Eli's "Best on the Beach" Award?

First off, let me say I am WAAAAYYYY behind on this!! I've been incredibly busy in my life, and this has not been a priority. That said, you are still welcome to apply, knowing that it might take me literally months to get back to you!!!

Marc and I have had so much fun visiting other people's sites and receiving awards, that I thought it would be fun to offer an award!

We took this shot of Eli at Russian Gulch Beach off the California Coastline in December '99. It seems like a nice shot for a "Best on the Beach" Award.

Do you know of a site (maybe your own?) that deserves to hang Eli's "Best on the Beach" Award? Have you (or your webmaster) worked hard to give people detailed information, great graphics, working links? Do you educate and entertain your audience so that they want to follow your links through your pages? Does your site meet the guideline criteria outlined below? Does your site honor animals and treat them with respect?

Special Note from Eli: "Mom is really behind on getting these awards out but she will surf everyone's site. As a Boxer, I give a "Special Boxer Kiss" award to -- you guessed it! -- Boxer sites."

Award Criteria  Short and sweet ...

• Prefer Boxer specific, although any dog-related, "pet specific" or awesome sites will be considered

• Responsible breeder and Rescue sites sites are especially close to my heart

• Site tells a story and offers educational value

• Site must be family friendly ... no adult material (pornography, violence, racism, sexism, hate crimes, hackers, abuse, etc.) or have any links to such sites

• Site should be complete ... 'Under Construction' signs, broken internal links or outdated external links are marked down
  

How to Nominate a Site 

Email me at boxers@tl-cadence.com. Put "SITE NOMINATION" in the subjectline in all caps

Your email must contain:

• Your name

• Your contact email address

• The Site Name

• The Site URL

• Any comments in support of your nomination

Please note: Eli's "Best on the Beach" Award was "suppose to" be given only once per month. However, due to the great and diverse content (and the fact that "Eli" is a softie and wants everyone to win) I have broken up the categories. This does not guarantee that every site submitted receives an award!** Due to dog shows, web work, family time, etc. it is not guaranteed that we will reach each site every month. We will, however, maintain a log of URLs that are nominated and try to visit each and every one! **This is turning out to be a huge job and I am getting five or six nominations a month! All of them are beautiful and full of love. I'm finding it hard to single just one out! As mentioned above, I am way behind on creating these awards so be patient. I promise ... I will get to your site.
